600x300 onto plaster board. - Tile Advice

Can 600x300 tiles be fixed straight onto bare unskimmed plaster board? Would it need priming first? Not sure whether the tiles are ceramic or stone yet. Any advice welcome. Cheers

Need to check weight of the tiles and what adhesive do you plan on using?

Yes they can be fixed to bare plasterboard no problem provided they are within the weight limit, 32kg per m2?? Including adhesive & grout.
Prime plasterboard with appropriate primer & use a quality powder adhesive.

Ok guys cheers. I'll find out more when I see the job. Only spoke to customer on phone do not seen tiles yet and don't know adhesive.
