The plaster is mixed with fiber (typically paper, glass wool, or a combination of these materials), plasticizer, foaming agent, and various additives that can reduce mildew, flammability, and water absorption.

Recommend Shower Room Substrate

Plaster board?
Should plaster board be primed before tiling? And if so with what primer? I understand plaster needs priming but the chap I work with says you don't need to with plaster board!!
