after completing a 2 week tiling course i have just finished my 1st complete bathroom for a paying customer , floor to ceiling tiled with one of those border things and can i say (excuse my french ) fuxx me , it`s ok in a controlled environment but it`s a different ball game in the real world , not one wall square , plaster hacked off to expose a dodgy crumbly uneven wall and the customer supplied the tiles with 4 spare , made me sweat a few times , i found the border a pain to grout and clean up but 2 days later hey presto job done , mind you a week later still no sign of some cash , don`t know why but every tile i cut on my rubi TS40 with a small wheel left a jagged cut and had to smooth off with a rubbing block , any suggestions ? , any way i`m off good luck to all you would be tilers if you can`t be safe ,be careful it`s a scarey place in the real world 🙁
