Phi Sigma Kappa (ΦΣΚ), colloquially known as Phi Sig or PSK, is a men's social and academic fraternity with approximately 74 active chapters and provisional chapters in North America. Most of its first two dozen chapters were granted to schools in New England and Pennsylvania; therefore its early development was strongly Eastern in character, eventually operating chapters at six of the eight Ivy League schools as well as more egalitarian state schools. It later expanded to the South and West.
According to its Constitution, Phi Sigma Kappa is devoted to the promotion of its three Cardinal Principles: the "Promotion of Brotherhood", the "Stimulation of Scholarship", and the "Development of Character".
Phi Sigma Kappa began on March 15, 1873 at Massachusetts Agricultural College in Amherst (now the University of Massachusetts Amherst) by six sophomores (referred to as The Founders). Phi Sigma Epsilon merged with Phi Sigma Kappa in 1985, which was the largest merger of Greek-letter fraternities.
I have a 3bk and i like the KK handle but thought i would try out the pull handle that i so like on my Sigma 2G cutter...
Well , what a difference... i thin it depends on each tiler who use Sigma cutters but the pull handle is deffo quicker and with the smaller foot it is a dream to get small...
I lent my TX700 cutter that i no longer use to dave at PHG for tiling his new displays..
Anyway i have been in a few times this week but all day yesterday doing displays for him... he used the Sigma and was well and truly hooked..
He loved the smoothness of the guide rail to handle movement...
well i wasnt expecting this??
even dereck did'nt get to hear about this until today..
sigma have merged with rubi :yikes:
Rubi will be making the cutters in their malaga and china factories. the cutters will be the same but red instead of blue. and they will be constructed from thinner bases...

Well i have been using this blade a while now and i am very impressed with how quick it cuts through hard to soft materials.
I have cut :
*Porcelain
*Slate
*Marble
*Travertine
*Ceramics
And the quality of the cut is really good on all materials , i also noticed that it cuts slate a lot...

Hi folks.
I was all set to buy the Sigma 3CM as my first big cutter but now I'm wondering if for another £50 I should get the 3DM? The only reason is that it's large enough to cut a 60cm tile diagonally whereas the 3CM won't. What do you all think? How often do you need to cut 60cm tiles...

In America they all use them, But Would like the Opinion, of Professional...
