Morning
Doing 70 1sq metre boards 600 x 300 display units, client wants the grout sunk 5mil from the top of the tile to show off there product, any ideas on getting a uniformed grout joint like this.
Cheers Matt
Just been sent this by a friend of ours, who’s had there bathroom redone, that is not adhesive from tiles being taken off the wall, but grout gone off on top of the tile 😳 no questions on it just something to brighten your Friday up
Was just going to post about the same scenario, I've got about 80 metres to do and was hoping not to have to re grout, presumably the mapei only works with mapei grout, as this was done with ardex fresh snowdrop, any other recommendations out there, cheers matt
That's exactly what I've done, explained it all, and the need for the ufh mats to be fully covered, there call, wished her well, although I can't see it ending well, but there you go.
Cheers for the input, always a great fountain of knowledge
Evening all

Alan, something is definitely moving, just can't figure out what is doing it. The tiles are solid around where the cracks in the grout are, there is some form of expansion round the edges as they are under the units and from memory they weren't cut in tight to the walls. It was a slight...
Enough pressure to crack the grout, but not enough to move the tiles, maybe, you think that would move that much over 5metres without any hairline cracks appearing the tiles?? Cheers for all your help by the way
