Please checkout the following advertisement.
Morning
Doing 70 1sq metre boards 600 x 300 display units, client wants the grout sunk 5mil from the top of the tile to show off there product, any ideas on getting a uniformed grout joint like this.

Hey Matt
You can probably do it by grouting as usual then rubbing the grout lines with a dry scouring pad (Blue or white) when the grout is starting to set. Then sponge the joints. it will give you a recessed joint.

Then sponge the joints. it will give you a recessed joint. The client made up a 3D block to do it, which didn’t work, ended up using the side of a washboy sponge to get it
