Samsung or iPhone ?

My contract is up at the end of the month and though I have been an iPhone user for years ,and love them, am seriously considering this galaxy s4, which seems to be a great piece of kit, I would like to wait about for the iPhone 6 but god knows how long its going to take to be released ! Any views, recommendations , or opinions would be greatly appreciated !

How do you keep the screens scratch free if you take them to work?, every phone I've had has lasted about a week before it gets scratched.

Screen protectors and a rubber case to protect it from dropping. Samsung S2 good as new and about a year old now.

Griffin make the best cases for iPhones, have one on mine and my is still like brand new.
