Work experience needed.

looking to gain some work experience with a local tiler preferably between school hours and some weekends. Just started a course and realised very quickly that practise and experience is needed.

Welcome, that is a very sensible way to learn, there is nothing like experience and would advice you to go into your local tile shops and leave your details with them. Tell them you are wanting to shadow an experienced tiler and ask them to recommend a good one, and see if he will take you on perhaps like an apprentice
