What to use to prep concrete floor

Will be tiling a concrete floor soon.

What prep if anything should I use. I was advised just to use pva 2-1 mix

Adhesive i am to use will be a fast set.

Fast set is fine, unless porcelain. PVA is an abolute no !!!!, use a specific primer for concrete recommended by your adhesive supplier....Gaz:yes:

Got to agree with my mate Gaz here....definately, definately NO PVA!

Just doing a screed floor myself and have primed with Ardex P51 diluted 1:1 but BAL APD or other acrylic primer would be fine.
