Wet room with concrete tiles?

I have a customer who wants me to lay concrete tiles in a wet room. Tiles are finished with olle repellant and a stain block then beeswax polished. I am concerned about the beeswax breaking down with the heat of the water and the tiles staining. Customer is happy for me to proceed after pointing out my concerns. Anyone any experience in this area. I don't like doing a job where I see future potential issues.

We would never recommend the use of a topical sealer/wax in a wet or bathroom situation because of moisture getting in the finish and poss turning white also breakdown from contaminates such as shampos and other agents dulling the finish in areas

Most importantly the issues with slip with this finish and situation . Impregnating sealer with water and oil reppelance should be sufficient , if correctly maintained

You have the best advice possible there. That's the manufacturer. If they say it isn't recommended, tell the customer to do it a better way.

Should not be a problem. Customer works with concrete and knows the issues. Have told them no beeswax and as stated they are aware of the slip hazard. Sometimes we have to let the customer decide provided we have pointed out the issues and they accept responsibility. It's a good customer and I am happy to proceed on that basis. I have had a number of concrete tile jobs and it is a growing market albeit expensive.
I have already done his kitchen with bespoke concrete tiles (25kg) per tile! Total area of 55 sq meters without any problems. ( Apart from the cost of a mate to lay each tile as they were a 2 man per tile when laying). Any issues I will let the forum know.
