Hi guys and dolls,

I have tiled a shower area and around a bath in 4" tumbled marble unfilled, there are 4 colours and they are very holy! I have used white spf and have back skimmed the tiles making sure all holes are filled and any excess that has come to the surface of the tile has been removed and cleaned as i have gone. Im leaving them to dry out for a few days now!

The question is would you apply a coat of sealer before you grout or not??

The sealer is lithofin stain stop with mapei jasmin grout, and there are 4 different coloured tiles.

I normally apply a coat of sealer before i grout useing a mini roller, and applying it sparingly so as it doesent run into the holes in the tiles so as the grout gets a good key in the holes, then i grout them filling all the holes and grout joints etc. then when they are all cleaned and dry i apply another coat of sealer all over, more liberraly this time and then remove any excess that hasn't soaked in before it drys.

So how do you do it apply sealer before grouting or not?

just wondering thanks steve...
