I am about to tile my kitchen floor with 600 x 300 porcelin tiles, I am going onto a concrete floor. The floor is fairly level / flat.

Could someone recommend which size trowel I need for the job? and a good adhesive?

I would use a minimum of 10mm but would probably go with 13mm, as for adhesive, too many to choose from, what tile suppliers have yo got near to you, we can narrow it down a bit by that.

Topps do their own 'trade' adhesives and / or Bal, either will do the job, just make sure when you buy, where ever it may be that it's suitable for porcelain.

Just out of interest why the round and still a 13mm

The round notch will enable you to get a full bed of adhesive with 100% coverage on the back of the tile. It is possible to do it with a square notch but it requires alot more effort.

I should have mentioned that, my bad, as said, a round notched trowel aids in getting 100% coverage on the back of the tile, also, back skim each tile as you fix them, with the flat side of the trowel, just think of buttering a slice of bread, all you need is a skim.
