tiling halfway up window recess

Just wondering what you would do with plastic trim when tiling around a window when you only go half way up?

Is it going to leave nd awkward edge where you see into the void on the edge of
the trim?

You can either fill the edge all the way round with grout or run trim along the top all the way round. Both will lokk okay mate just that grout is alot easier 🙂

I wouldn't use trim in that case, just a grout line.

with these being 3" x 6" ceramics i need to cover the edge though, unless maybe i mirte them and do without the trim altogether

I nearly always trim.If its half way up a window I do square trim on the vertical then round on the horizontal,don't have to worry about 3 way mitre then.

i always trim on the top rather than grout it looks alot better

ah i should have pointed out that all along the top row of tiles will be a thick dado tile border - so i dont need a horizontall trim.. just thinking these dado tiles mitred aorund the corner should cover the edge of the vertical trim onthe corner now that i think about it properly.
