Hi, I have removed the floor tiles from my kitchen floor but need to get the adhesive type cement up. Ive used a sds drill with chisel attachment to get the tiles up but the cement is not so easy. I was thinking of hiring a machine from HSS Hire advertised as ''floor tile removal kit and just wondered if anyone has used this machine before and if so was it easy to use and did it do the job well. This is the web address for the tool.

any advice or info from anyone who has used this tool would be greatly appreciated
Cheers Chrissy

I know what you mean, but ive had a look on you tube and what looks like the same machine (something called dustram) seems to do the job well

Hi Andy, yes i could do that but really need to try and get the level down, Ive got under floor heating to go down too and oyster slate to go on top of that, (the same as in the hallway), so I would like the level to be the same or as near as. the option of just leveling to the height of the adhesive would be my last choice because of this

Thanks for your reply Judge, Is it also easy to use and how long do you think an area of 8 square meters would take to clear?
