Please work in conjunction with STRATHCLYDE POLICE and do our best to outlaw this behaviour.

Good timing for Gordon or what? No one is going to be calling for a snap general election now..... perfecto time for him to prove his tough, macho and statesman like qualities.

I'm reading the BBC NEWS website as I type, and I can't see any mention of deaths or injury... which, thank God, is a good thing and something to be thankful for.

Hopefully those carrying out these acts will be caught and bought to justice. (IE: found guilty in a court of law by jury, then locked up for LIFE, not shot dead for looking shady or put on house arrest forever with no charge!)

I Have to say, as shocking?? as this may be (if your completely detached from the current state of the world?), I do think the media coverage is completely unhelpful.... 24hr rolling red banners on the screen; ''TERROR TERROR TERROR''... hardly helps people put things into perspective in a rational manor whilst staying vigilant, does it?

Personally, as horrible as things are at the moment, I still don't see why us Brits should give up more of our hard earned freedoms to try (most likely unsuccessfully too) and stop a few nut cases from ruining everything...... We have to give the police more £££ and man-power to detect this kind of thing and deal with it.

Unfortunatly I fear we will have to put up with more attacks like this for a good few years before anybody comes up with any solutions..... as much as I am anti-war, I don't think just getting out of Iraq will cut it.....

phew... well... next on my list of things to fix / rant about:
*world poverty / hunger
*ID cards
*Europe
*Spice girls reunion - jeeeeez

Thanks for that and just remember thaty you should be vigilant at every concert etc suspect package and the rest,so take THE HOME OFFICE advice and report any
thing you may think be shady or underhanding to the British police.WE ALL MUST STICK TOGETHER AND TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY AS OUR FAMILIES LIVES ARE AT RISK DUE TO THESE SCUM B******s

Well, obviously I agree...

However what I don't agree with is over-stating the risk, having panic attacks and going on witch-hunts..... you are still more likely to be run over by a bus, fall down stairs and break your neck.... killed by an un-insured polish immigrant... sorry, I mean driver... etc etc etc.

Reality is this country dealt with the IRA bombs (not that I am old enough to remember) without doing anything crazy, we have to stay sensible and not let the words 'terror' , 'extremist' or 'muslim' cloud our judgement.

Not all men with a slight sun tan and 3 days worth of stubble, boarding a plane / train or tube station are terrorist theats!

Yeah, I just wish the BBC would stop over-hyping the news like a tabloid paper... because at the moment we are building up a 'the boy who cried wolf' situation, and if the brown stuff really does hit the fan in the future people wont get thier arse into gear quickly enough!

I Know What I Think And Without Being Predujice The Safety Of All Brits Is Of Paramount Importence And We Should Remain Resulute.up The Brits!

How is that Prejudice? Bearing in mind these people doing these attacks are more than likely British bord as well....

Speaking from experience and having been caught up at Liverpool airport saturday we are a long way from being prepared, I've done several tours of Northern Ireland and know how to contain a terrorist attack/situation, judging by the reaction of Liverpool authorities they fell a long way short of being ready. It was organised chaos.
