Hi just after some info . what is the best way to take up floor tiles some are loose others solid . half of floor is wood other half stone . about 20 meters in total

You can use a hammer and bolster or by mechanicl means..sds drill with chisel attachment.....

Was there an expansion joint where the timber met the concrete.?..this could be why they have come loose in places....stress related de-bonding........

think the tiles were just put down crap . the wood floor bit is the extension bit. thanks for your advice were is best place to get a drill attachment from

Dave is there anything you don't know about related to tiling.

Perhaps the rest of us could get together one night and answer one of your questions. :grouphug:

no probs craig..if you are going to re-tile the floor...you will need to put an expansion joint exactly where the timber floor meets the concrete one..this can be a pre-made joint or a Silicon joint..( use Silicon same colour as grout )...

as for drill attachment...if your drill is a SDS type then you can get a chisel bit from any diy store.......
