stripping Silicon from bath

how much would you charge for stripping Silicon and resealing round bath also is it worth getting Silicon removal tool or just using a good old stanley blade😕

try using silcone eater much neater job, follow instructions on tube.

I would remove as much as you can with stanly blade then use Silicon eater (That stuff is gr8) As for price that depends on time it takes but looking at minimum £50 not cheap i know but its not a simple job. Good luck

most diy stores sell Silicon eater costs about £8.oo roughly as for price for job up to you mate i would say like t1 says min £50.00 .

£50 for little repair work like this! The Silicon remover tools are only as good as the blade, so make sure you get a good one if you use these.

just seen the job the silicones over the tile and bath not been done well at all i ve seen unibonds Silicon remover at £8 per tube but you ve got to leave that on for about 2 hours would i be better with the straight balde stanley and just jently strip from tiles and bath then reseal

Thats ok but it still leaves traces thats why the eater and the £50 charge because of the time it takes

im part time mate but just finnished a bathroom and just waiting for plumber to pull down and replace shower cubicle in ensuit then ill be tiling that ,
roughly averaging about 3 jobs a month with out advertising .
going to give it the big push when i can afford a van
