Spirit levels

Can anyone recomend an outlet to get good quality spirit levels at a reasonable price. I've looked on e-bay but they don't seem all that to be honest.

I bought a 1200 and a 600 from wickes they are spot on (it's the red ones you want) i later learned that they are actually made by Draper, i've also seen some photo's of professional tilers at work on various sites on the net and they have been using the exact same ones.🙂

Draper levels suck, stabila is the way to go, do the level test and you'll see:wink_smile:

Far as laser levels go hilti is far superior to them all, fair enough you pay for them but you cant expect something under a hundred quid to do the same as over a grands worth, bit like porsche and vauxhall.

Always used rubi level 3ft,it used to piggy back on my various straight edges.The thing I admire about it, is the screw adjustment on the bubble for re-calibration.It is locked in the strong box inth' garage and has just turned 21.

Good stuff stabila tanner,but when clattered around in vans and that,its bubbles not true chuck it away.The baby rubi adjustable bubble however outlasts em all.You do get what you pay for

Was scaffolder before i started tiling...... Used a magnetic stabila, fell from great heights and treated with total disrespect still remained true, every scaffolder in the country uses stabila.

STABILA all day long.

ive had my stabila for over 10 yrs , checked it last week with a brand new one, still spot on !!!! :wink_smile:
