I'd say don't pay him. If primer not used and tiles falling off already. Just bite lip and do it again unfortunately. You bought tub adhesive which I never use. Cuts are poor. But realistically your never be happy now until it's done properly. I'm sure many on here can help. I'd be happy to also. But whatever you decide. Don't pay him

If you keep posting we can talk you through the whole job. Lol.
Lol... If it wasn't for the fact I've had to take half of the walls down, I'd be up for giving that a go! (Unless anyone can talk me through building new walls? ;) ) is there a face time talk through option on here?
You guys are awesome! I don't think there's been a question I've asked within the forum yet, that's ever gone unanswered! I know I've said it before, but thank you again.
I know this is a forum mainly for all you professional chaps so I'm so, so grateful for all your input.
Uncertainty can be a fearful & lonely place, y'know. end of soppiness

Hi Nicky, the forums for all and your right there's some top fellas and top ladies on here more than happy to help all comers, but just if you've not used a grinder probably best to leave for your tiler as Mark says, not worth losing a finger or two for the little extra it will cost for the tiler to sort. As above tell the wood butcher to take a walk. You've got the the photo evidence, you reached out to him and he never returned your calls and he never tanked and never primed, could be worth speaking with your local trading standards about him, he'll run a mile if you mention that to him. Good luck.
