And disappointed
A few months ago i reversed out of my drive in to the turning circle at the bottom of our drive ,i see my neighbour reversing so i decided to give way and let him out, so i put-my hand-break on and looked up my drive, next thing is smash in to the back of me , then you would expect him to have stopped but no to my surprise he when right down the side of his car against my tow bar recking the side of his car , anyway i jumped out and said ray what the F are you doing he was in a state of surprise ,so i repeated ,he then said i didn't see you ,when he spoke i could smell booz !!! (so in my mined i thought do i call the police ) the i thought NO you don't do that to your neighbour's ,anyway to cut a long story short , he has only told his insurance company that i reversed into him :mad2:, so from now on i will repot /grass on everyone that does anything they should not ,yes its official !! i hate everyone that is not my blood ,its just not worth being a decent guy :mad2:

i hope you took pics when it happened.
im sure the insurance companywill see what actually happened. if it was your tow bar that damaged his car. if you revered back then you would have dented his car. unless you were doing donuts i cant see how you could put damage along the car, it would only be in one area

Well just been back on to my insurance to emphasise how annoyed i'am and how wrong it is, i told them they can come out and we can have a reconstruction if necessary ,i'am also considering taking out a private claim against him as well,
as regards the guy ( fist thought was i'll put his lights out ) but calmed down now , just going to ignore the Banker now !!.
I dont know it one-thing after another at the moment , is it all B worth it!!!!

Not the same company is it. I had something happen to me a long while ago where I was clearly not at fault but like you I didnt want a fuss then the little sod claimed i was at fault....the insurance deemed it 50/50.

To-true Bugs!, he's a travailing sales-man , and a bit smarmy anyway! the only reason i can think of for him saying something like that , is to save-face with his bosses or something !

Best way to deal with this is when you know he's been out drinking, an anonymous phone call to tip off plod the next morning to breathalise him, or if you know where he drinks a call when he's leaving the pub. I've seen it done before.
