Hi, in order to 'Square-up' a 900mm x 900mm Coram Shower tray which is out by 8-10mm gap from being flush. Is it safe to chase a recess into the Aquapanel to level things out and ensure tiles can be laid nice and straight, down over the upstands....?

Does any special attention need to be paid to the join between the exposed Aquapanel (where it's been chased) and the contact with the shower tray....?

In the Coram fitting instructions it talks about chasing the tray into the wall but I wasn't sure if this may cause later issues with moisture transfer etc....

Cheers

If there is enough support you may be able to cut it in. It may be easier to remove the boards install tray.
Cut down boards refit on to up stand.
