I still think it should be licenced in some way. With the complicated tiles requiring specialist cutters and skills that have come around since this thread was started - and we're still seeing plasterers or plumbers attempting installing them, I think there should be some sort of formal training or time-served ticket that is required before installing tiles.

Should we be a licenced trade......it is in other countries but not the uk...


A simple yes or no.......will suffice........but if you would like to air your views then do so.......but not general chit chat please.....




p.s. poll is none public , so all votes are private....we just want to see what the majority think..
I think no because , bikes on roads are not , or electric scooters !! But also no because how do you licence tiling ,other than charging and retraining countless tilers at their cost ! I think an insurance that every builder etc and every customer should pay !on agreement of work etc to be done
