Can you use self levelling cement on a floor once you've ripped out a previous floor tiling job to make it right for the new job?

This has to be quicker than chipping away at uneven cement right?

If so presumably you have to swish it about to make sure it gets inall the gaps.

As long as the adhesive bed isn't loose then yes you can.....prime it though and away you go...............

As the other guys have said you can level over old adhesive ckecking for loose stuff first then prime. Down here we tend to grind the floors first though, before priming and levelling.
