Alright lads,
Just wondering what types do screeds you all use?
i do flooring but used some called level flex screed on plywood that my tiler mate said was good.
Its great gear an a low price? It dried a bit rough though an had to rub down and feather.
any others ?

Cheers
Daz

screeding..? you mean latex or self leveling compound (slc)...dont let someone on here called diamond pool finishers hear you calling it screeding...it makes him mr angry...lol

i use weber floor flex, good stuff, can go to 50mm and is flexable..

i use this a lot on underfloor heating. It has fibers in it so leveling can dry rough, if you use slc a lot it might be worth investing in a spiked roller.

Same as Andy, Webber one is very good (flows well, very runny) ball stop gap 700 / 300 is good, mapei renovation screed is good. Ardex is good. Do not use gran fix one, this is not an slc its just a 'c' if you know what i mean.

Under 10mm is latexing or slc, I 'm with Diamond Pool finishers on that!
Anything from 25mm bonded is a 'screed'.no need to go thicker than 50mm even with ufh when using Gyvlon screed.

Yes mate, I'm from the flooring forum but thought I'd ask a few questions. I do mean smoothing screeds like latex.
For example stopgap green bag, 300, laybond ultimate, Ardex NA etc.

That's the one mate, the wood screed I always use is f.ball 700 which is mega bucks ( not sure you can post prices on here? ) but level flex is well worth the money.

What's the webber one flow an dry like?

Levelflex for me slc, screeding sand and cement different skill imo.
