I've left the property so I cannot check at the moment, it's an upstairs bathroom in a fairly new build so my guess would be wood but it feels solid as anything no movement whatsoever.

The customer thinks it's wood, but the attached photo doesn't look like wood.

I thought about over boarding but it would great a massive lip into the room with a tile as well.
