New members to the Forum.

I have noticed recently there are lots of members on the forum who do not fill in there location! Have you got something to hide? If you fill this in and you have a problem then another experienced tiler from your area could pop in and help you.

did notice a newbie at the time having a few problems and realised he wasn't far away so i offered to go down and give him a few pointers,he accepted my proposal at the time and i would like to think i helped out

I think it's cos people don't realise there's sections that they can fill in to say a bit about themselves. But it's been so long since I signed up, I can't remember :lol:

I'll add a notice to those with less than 1 post to say that they can fill in their profile to provide a location, and I'll give them a link too. How's that? Should help a bit.

So now when they register and login it links them to the new member intro's forum and their profile so they can introduce themselves and add their location.

Once they've posted it doesn't pester them to post more untill 30 days have passed. Then it'll have a message when they login saying to post more often if you don't mind (assuming they've read a lot by then) and sends them an email if they haven't logged in at all for a bit.
