i posted last night about blown skim behind the tiles, sorry i had to go ,two teenage daughters giving me bad looks about being on the laptop two long. iam trying to save tiles and have soaked them in water, hopefully this will help to get the addy and skimcoat off them.does anyone know of any product i can put into the water to speed up this process, or am i flogging a dead horse. how can we be sure that there is a sufficent key with skimcoat on render , when it could be the weight of the tiles that breaks the key, we dont always get to prepare the substrate , and our reliant on somebody else`s work been done properly.

hello whitebeam, thanks for reply, ive landed my self a poisoner here, covered bath and sink to stop falling tiles, i would need 5 pairs off hands.

yes hillhead, and a miracle. wife woke me this morning to tellme she had a bad dream that i suffered a heart attack and had died. guess what i got for my tea this evening a fry,
