First wall, cooker splash back is now done.

I've never tiled in my life, this is the first wall I've ever done, this forum gave me the confidence and the bug! lol!

What'd you think?

Looks ok for a first attempt. You're slightly off centre above the hob, next time draw a centre line to work off. Well done and thanks for sharing the pics.

Fair effort mate, yea like above said, centre line and with brick effect I draw a second 1 half a tile width from it.

My first ever tiling project was kitchen splashback at home - yours is better than mine!

Doesn't look grouted and siliconed - need to see that for final marks.

Excellent first tiling job! That heavily bevelled type of tile is a pig to Silicon well though, so plenty of water and washing up liquid in a spray bottle when you get round to doing that part of it - you'll probably need to scrape a fair bit out of the grout lines...
