Im doing a kitchen floor next week it used to be two rooms so there's an concrete area with a thin stable layer of bitumen glue and the other sub floor is a screed of concrete with fibre in it. the bitumen area is higher than the screed, not sure how much as iv got to back and check be a good 6-10 mm prob. any ideas on bring floor level or at least tapering it off?

A good self leveling compound. What area is the floor? How big a area needs bringing up? Also you will want to remove as much of the bitumen as possible.

hi,level the lower side with slc and remove as much bitumen as you can then slurry coat it with sbr and cement mixed to tile to

16 m2 in total, about 7m2 bitumen part of the bitumen floor runs off so will need levelling too. was gonna ltex slc the bitumen and slc screed to bitumen level?

Whatever way you level the floor you will need to check if it is two seperate concrete floors. If it is two seperate slabs then you may not get away with just tiling over the join as this could transfer a crack through the tiles. You may need to consider using a decoupling membrane or worse case scenario putting in an expansion joint.
