Hi All, I have been undertaking a DIY project at home involving gutting my shower and re-tiling it. In the process I searched the internet and found this site which answered most of my questions. I really appreciate the people who have taken time to help others and share their experience. I got some great advice about using aquaboard and using the right adhesive.

In this project, I have used a glass mosaic tile and although it has been quite time consuming, it is coming along pretty well. I decided to rip out the old plasterboard when I removed the original tiles to make sure that I had a good surface to work to and that seems to have been a good idea.

Many Thanks, John (aka 'grumpy old goat' when things aren't going well ... )

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I did take some pics of my progress so will stick a couple up for you to provide constructive critique ....

I'm just finishing off the grouting and havn't quite got the hang of not leaving excess grout on the tiles vs taking too much off .. I'm using a squegee and a sponge , any tips welcome.
