hi there iam new to the game,i live in somerset and not quite sure what sort of price to quote,do i charge by the hour,per square meter or by 2 square meters?
and does this price include the grouting after the tiles are laid for 24 hours?

Use rapidset adhesive - you can grout after a few hours. Job done.

If its a big job, go for metre squared. If its a small job (like a kitchen wall or en suite floor for example), then go for a day rate.

what kind of price would i think of charging for day rate and psm? does 15.00 ph and 16.80 psm sound about rite?thanks apm.

120 - 150 a day, or price per metre squared depending on the cuts/tiles/size of job. Start off @ 15psm for the easy jobs (conservatory's etc) and work upwards. this doesn't inlcude materials.

Did they not give you advice on this on your training course?

to be honest no,but this was a few years ago now,so memory is kind of short(lol),thats the sort of money i was thinking to be honest but just wanted to check with you guys first as did hear this is the best site for advise,thanks again,i have posted a load of photos on here as well with my first proper job the other day so advise on that would be nice,thanks chap.
