Hi

All the info is out there on the net about this subject but I am seeming to go round in circles a bit...as opinions differ...

Here are my tiles, just a small number - won't be doing a hall or anything big, so this is not a majorly important cleanup....an improvement would be nice....

Some are a little chipped anyway, so I'm not looking for perfection, but some have a lot of engrained dirt, looking almost part of the glaze, some have clouding in the glaze, (so it looks), some have discolouration and I'm looking for an improvement...

And then the unglazed...below which seem more straight forward

I bought some Vulpex and some rennaisance wax...

I'm thinking the glazed ones may not clean up , or is there a product that is worth trying to lift out the dirt ..

I've been considering alkaline polish removers, nano cleaners fuilds, TLP stuff...

there are not many tiles here, about 38 in total and I don't want to spend a lot of money ...

And can the clouding be dealt with...?

Any help gratefully received...

Roy

Thanks sire,

i think you are right.....

I had a go with vulpex today and actually it looks like the glaze will have to be removed to get to the dirt...the cleaning has helped a bit but there's a long way to go

Not sure I want to strip the surface back , but it looks like it needs to be done...

thaks again, appreciated

Roy
