Greetings everyone,great forum

A friend of mine wants me to help him lay 100m2 of 600 X 400 mm marble tiles in his hallway running into his open plan sitting room/kitchen. What size wet cutter should he use? I suspect he'd be better to hire one out as he'll need something with high rpm and high wattage that you're average tile shop or DIY shop wouldn't stock. Is this the case?

Check out CTD if you have one near you. They hire out cutters and would be able to advise which one would be suitable.

I'm in Ireland and we don't have CTD here,HSS HIRE are the closest and have 550W and 750W cutters. I have a 450W,3000rpm 22m bore wet saw myself but I don't think it would stand up to the cuts that 100m2 marble will require.
I was really looking for the power ratings that I would need for this type of job
