So what does everyone think about the name of the latest Beckham?

Harper is a nice name, for a boy! But calling a girl Harper Seven sounds like something out of Star Trek deep space nine.

what's wrong with nice normal traditional names like David, Victoria, Alexandra, Sarah, Robert??? drives me mad when people call their kids ridiculous names. when Kylie Minogue became a pop star hit in the UK in the late 80's the amount of girls burdened with the name Kylie was phenomenal!

I remember years ago I was in a customer's house and they were watching Kilroy (remember him?). There was a mother to referred to her three kids by their given names, Keefer, Keanu and Demi and then after a comment by Kilroy denied they were named after the actors :lol:

Names always get shortened:
H7 - isn't that a road in Milton Keynes?...................or is it a car bulb?

Harper is more like a boys name.

I used to live in Bramley road, and always thought if I had a baby boy I would call him Bramley. Everyone hated the idea. I had 2 girls anyway - Sophie & Lucy

I like using surnames as first names, but like you say, it's more suited to boys I think.

I think it's a daft name......I mean my boys have "normal" names like Harrison Reid Boardley and Gabriel Tomlinson Boardley, but I suppose the Beckham kids won't mix in normal circles and have the mickey taken.

mate of mine's son is Hugo Nelson
My son is called Owen after my Rugby club Old Halesowenians Everone who cheers them on shout come on Owen My missus never realized for years so it became a standing joke daughter is called Ruby not after my cutter before you ask

Its not as bad as some others. Frank Zapper's kids= Dweezle and Moon Unit!!!

I went to school with a guy called Richard Perver and my girlfriend went to school with a girl called Crystal Ball.

Met a guy a couple of weeks ago, his cousin was called Walt Disney Christmas Pane!!!! Because his mum loves all those things. That kid is going to grow up normal.

Had a teacher at school with the name Farthing, called his Penny..could see some stick happening there.
