Hi all i was pricing a job yesterday in which the customer has bought all materials and has purchased Unibond ready mixed Anti-Mould adhesive and grout which aint cheap stuff price wise but ive never used it so was had a couple of questions,
1.Will i need to prime the green board before applying it? (not normally needed with ready mixed addy) and
2. Can it be used without any problem on green moisture board or does this board require a different addy type?

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Dave.

Belows a link for the addy im on about.

Cheers for the faster than fast replys! Didnt think id need to prime with the tubbed stuff and tiles are only 200x250 so should still dry out for grouting the next day. Spoke to a woman on there support line and she said it has to be the extra hold unibond addy and standard isnt suitable for green board but think she may have been talking out of a hole in her head as it didnt make sense to me, any thoughts on that? Also interesting grumpy says its not great to work with ....whys that then? just so i know what im letting myself in for, LOL

ok so im seeing a pattern here:lol:. So return the unibond ready mixed anti mould and get either a Bal ready mixed ady which i take it will stick to green moisture board without a problem and not need primed and seperate grout?
If you want to use ready mix, then White Star is brilliant stuff. You will still need to wait until the next day to grout though....and make sure you use a "proper" grout...don't grout with the White Star....
