Designer epoxy not the standard epoxy, used it at mapei but have heard it's expensive.

Easier than most to use though

its around £40ish for a 3kg tub of Kerrapoxy design and then another £10 for the glitter. You can get bigger tubs 5kg and 10kg but I dnot know the prices of them.

Constantly try to clean as you go, cleaning tiles and your tools on every opportunity.

Pricey stuff so get accurate idea of quantity required. The grout density factor for this product is 1.5 so the fllowing formula should be used to calculate grout quantity

tile width + tile lenght = A X grout widh X tile depth X 1.5

NOW DIVIDE THIS BY

tile width X tile height

for example lets say that your mosaics sheets are the following spec,

25x25mm tile
2mm spaces between each tile
8mm tile depth

your formula would be as follows;

25(tile width)+25(tile length) = 50 x 2(grout width) x 8 (tile depth) x 1.5(grout density factor) = 1,200

25x25 = 625

1,200 divided by 625 = 1.92 kg per msq

so you would need 1.92kg of kerapoxy design for every msq of mosaic at the above spec

hope this helps and appoligies if you already know this formula.:lol:

Prices are as per tfs :thumbsup:. I usually get it from TG but some stores will quote a minimum of 10 bags of glitter (seems that silver is popular but gold is as rare as rocking horse poo).

I keep a float, bucket and sponges separate for glitter as it will stain your gear.

When washing off, use warm water and work a small area at a time (1 sqm average).

It looks the dogs danglies when done Jamie.
Good luck,

Daz

** Also, only mix a max of 3 bags glitter per 3 KG poxy. Personally, I think 2 bags of glitter is plenty.
