Click on your name and then under one of the tabs "find all posts by this user". You should also be able to use the Quick Links menu (in the green bar) and select "today's posts".

Checkout THIS area of your control panel. You'll see a drop-down box in the second 'part' down that setting page, which will give you a few options - and then an off selection so to speak. I have weekly email notifications - and it sends one notification during the start of each weak listing all the updated topics in one email. Easy to read and understand and doesn't irritate.
