Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I want my bathroom tiling in mosaics but have been told that all my walls need to be redone with weber board so the walls are completely true.

To do this the whole bathroom suite needs to come out which has only been in for 4 days!

The walls are not bad as it stands.

Any advice would be appriciated.

Thanks in advance

As long as the walls are flat, and no pot holes or chunks out of it........you should be ok.

The mosaics would highlight any high/low spots on your walls.......so if they are bad....it would be better to redo them.

HELLO MATE.. the walls need to be flat for mosiacs, use a straight edge on walls and check for any deviations and bumps in the walls and make good. would be an advantage to remove sink and cistern to make it easier to fix mosaics. any wet areas can be tanked for water proofing no need to reboard with weber .. as mentioned as long as walls are flat then no probs... good luck...

Thanks for reply. I have offered to get the walls skimmed but again was told this would not be good enough. Think I may need to get another tiler maybe?

try some body else hes trying to make extra money.. put post on here for tiler in your area....
