exterior mastic on tiled steps

hi all,just a thought i had....

has anyone ever used exterior mastic/Silicon on outdoor steps on the internals?

im doing a set of quarries just now to be finsihed with charcoal grout,i thought it may look good if the internals were done with matt charcoal mastic

any thoughts on this. may not work/look good as ive never seen it before

I used a black mastic on my front step Jamie, got it from a mate who is a roofer so no worries about it being weather proof! Very sticky!

Not as good as Silicon might look but that's because I found it quite tricky to tool off, really gooey but better for outdoor use, or that's what I thought anyway!

might try the exterior dow cornign Silicon then

i know everbuild do an exterior Silicon that has a matt finish that would be perfect
