Enveloping?

Could use mosaic to save you cutting any tiles for the enveloping

Hi Phil, using preformed trays. All trays are being installed by the plumbers, I just have to tile. Will defo wet cut them also.

So when I dry lay the tiles on the tray, I do them edge to edge with no space as the blade will give me the space. Then cut the corners off for the drain.

Another tip
this works if you have a steady hand

You need sheet of ply same size as tray
Position drain cover in centre, mark position & remove.
dry lay tiles with spacers, use long level to mark diag cutz on tiles.
use wooden batten. Align with mark, hold down batten with foot, then use this as a guide for your grinder.
Cut along line, keepin grinder tight to batten.
Takes practice but dead quick.
Works a treat x

that is because he has not cross bonded !!😳

Why would you mitre mosaics? Cross bonding a must for this situation

By cross bonding do you mean staggering the joints of the tiles/sheets?

Secondly, doies anyone have or no of a photo of a proper mosaic wetroom floor. Looking through the gallery and I cant see one?
