door bar?

Im raising a bathroom floor by 23mm aprox, not sure what to do about a door bar where it joins the hallway carpet can anyone help

depending on budget you cud put in a schluter stair nose to highlight the step. these have a rubber grip and come in different widths and make a safe finish to the edge. Alternatively make a wedge shape ramp from a bit of timber to tuck under the carpet so levels meet then trim off with carpet to tile trim.

The movable transition arm, via a ball-andsocket joint, allows the profi le to adjust to the height of the adjacent covering. Thus the occurrence of trip edges between coverings of different heights is eliminated. Schlüter-RENO-V is also suitable for heavy-duty applications (e.g. entrances to garages or loading docks). In such cases, the
adjustable arm is back-filled with mortar.


You can get these profiles from any CTD branch...they will have to be ordered in......

topps tiles do door bars for different heights. Cheap and available in different finishes. also very easy to fit.

For anyone that has a difference in height between two floors. Go to a carpet/wood flooring specialist shop & ask for a Zig-Zag profile bar available in silver, gold, bronze etc. They are approx 3cm high and all you have to do is glue them to the floor and squash them down carefully with your foot.

Dave, very similar, that is the one normally 4 laminate or tiles to carpet. The other type is withour the gripper and used 4 wood flooring

But i think that is the type he wants for tiles to carpet..which he asked for......

There are some very good finishing profiles about at the minute...
