Got one of these from Kevin Martin..DC270 Deep Cut Exakt Saw, really good tool. Needed one for a re-grout job in a fire damaged Manor house. Insurance company wanted it re-grouted due to smoke damage to the grout.

I've had one if these for a few years got mine direct from exact! At one of the trade shows cheap! I cut hardibaker boards an everything with mine good bit of kit! 😉

Have you used a Fein for grinding out old grout and if you have, how does the Exaktsaw compare - ease of use, speed etc?

For floors its really fast..much faster than the fein.

Must admit it was Mr Carroll that introduced us to these!
They are a good machine though Anthony..handy for everything especially with the different blades you can buy for it.. 😉 no comparison to the fein!!!

I have considered one of these for a while and often wondered if either the wheels could be used side by side for wider joints or even a wider mortar rake wheel. ????
