Cordless grinder

I guess it depends what your other tools are. I bought the Makita impact driver, drill, grinder and er...........little vacuum! Do not buy the vacuum - it is absolutely useless. The grinder has a nice weight to it. Battery life depends on what you are cutting. The best tool of the bunch is the impact driver - makes short work of drilling screws into Hardiebacker.

I know a few guys who keep a cordless in the boot of there motors just in case they get clamped.....

Makita 18v battery grinder every time. You can buy replacement brushes when they get tired mine is into its 4 th yr and third set of brushes still going strong. Oh and you can get a 110v charger a bonus for us on sites

I have three Makita 18v Now and six batterie's and two chargers , and love them. BUT i'am not sure about the switches on them just lately, i sent one back for repair a week after having it, and now thats working again after seizing -up ,just had another one seize and got it going with WD-40 again, but after these experiences not sure !!!.......
