Is it ok to build up layers with both slc (around 8mm) and also with cement based addy to correct the falls on top a a marmox shower tray? The falls are somewhere near but just a little low on just one corner.

Cheers

most cement based adhesives have a maximum depth of about 6mm PTB is about 20mm which is ideal if you have some but there are a few like PCI Nanolite which allow you to go to about 15-20mm CHECK on the bag or look at there website

Cheers for the replies lads but I typed in a hurry as leaving for for work and i think you mis-understood, what i mean is can i just float out some addy from about 6mm to a feather edge, let it harden then tile over the top of it with a 10mm half moon trowel with travertine? hope so!

Cheers

souldn't be a problem if its a decent slc. Cheap stuff won't feather edge very well
