Border Tiles

I am in France completing a renovation & need some advice. We are laying 400 x 400 floor tiles and have bought border tiles to suit. The floor tiles have been laid with a 6mm gap. Do the border tiles also have this gap or should they butt fit? Any help much appreciated.

Me personally, I would have the 6mm gap between all tiles. But its personal preference at the end of the day.....

Me Too ,make sure all the tiles have the same grout line
