I may be a bit late on the boat here. But i went in to my local Topps today and they were talking to me about this new adhesive that has taken the place of Bal Single Part Flex, Bal Max Flex. Now is this stuff really the 'new and improved' version of Bal Part Flex.? I always used to swear by Bal Part Flex when tiling walls. Now my Topps don't stock it will Bal Max Flex be the same?

Anyone use Bal Max Flex for standard kind of size wall tiling?

And i know how expensive Bal is, but i have always used it, and Mapei just seem to cheap in comparison to me.

I thought that Max Flex Fibre took the place of Mosaic Fix. My local ctd still stock Bal spf so maybe its just your Topps branch that isn't stocking it. I find Mapei addy similar in price to Bal and just as good.

I don't use a lot of Bal now but I'm the same, I thought it replaced mosaic fix.
