most tubbed adhesive will recommend you don't use it on tiles no bigger then 300x300 due to the fact it dries by dispersion, meaning if you use it on to big of a tile some of it will never dry..

Hi deanotile ,no i dont mind at all being told anything , if i am wrong i will hold my hand up ,but i fail to see what difference the size of the tile makes,if you read what i said again you will see iuse ready mixed most of the time and never have problems and never have had,and yes there is ready mixed adhesive for porcelain if people prefer to use it,now could you explain why it is the size of the tile that matters most of all

I did a shower area yesterday, 1.2m x 300mm tiles (long and slim)...

(I used Rapid Benfer grey, onto Hardi walls)

But, if its nothing to do with tile size, could I have used Tubbed gear on these badboys?

i never use tubbed Period 😛rrr: :hurray::thumbsup: about as good as using flour/water

That is not true if the tile size and sub straight are suitable there is nothing wrong with it.
