Hi,

We are in the middle of having our bathroom tiled and we are worried about how the tiler is going about cutting around pipes / taps.
Would you say these cuts show in the photos are acceptable?
Appreciate the help.

Thanks

If a hole can be cut and then the tile fitted over the pipe then that is always a must. Sometimes something is fitted and can't be removed so u cuts or splitting a tile is the only option. Using a quality blade to reduce chipping is important and a good colour match grout to make it invisible. I'm seeing zero finesse in those photos I'm afraid and the fact you're concerned says you agree. Tilers kit is amazing these days and if he doesn't have what he needs then he probably isn't up to the task.
