300x100 tiles free hand

hi all.
I am looking at different adhesives and want to know what adhesive people would used for 300x100 with out using spacers. Doing them free hand with a leader line.

I did a bathroom 30 years ago because the tiler couldn't get back to the second bathroom. I never saw the one he tiled, but he had used string. When I finished I was told they wouldn't pay till his bathroom was ripped out and done again.

I still have to explain to customers at least once a week that no, they do not want a 5mm grout gap on a rectified porcelain floor so I am pretty sure anything goes!

I really don't get the point you're trying to make......... Are you wanting to tile with no space at all.....?
Butt jointing tiles is never advisable for a number of reasons..

I realized I want to put tile,
making space with eyes only.
and he asks for a non-slip adhesive.
However, a little education never hurts.

Maybe your eyes don't work and you think it looks alright .

Dip your string spacer in petrol and once adhesive is dry set alight and save yourself having to wind it in! (Like your neck) simples even a blind man can do it! 😛

So you all use spaces on all tiles even if it's 150x75 on new stud walls?

Last time I didn’t use a spacer of any sort for a wall tile is when they had lugs on them or a bevelled back edge!

I always use spacers too, unless the tiles are the ultra-pretentious hand-made rustic affairs.
