Does anybody know the name of the floor Covering found in toilets and shower areas? Looks like a textured plastic sheet, often rolled up the wall to form skirting.
Have a shop toilet to quote and have a couple of questions for you chaps.
1, can you get this stuff up or can it be tiled over...

You would think that installers working with expensive porcelain, granite, stone or marble tiles would take a bit of pride installing simple items such as a button push for a loo. (I know all the pro installers on here would do a great job)
A button push or actuators are used for flushing...

Looking for some guidance.
Currently looking at tiling the small bathroom under the stairs in my own house. Don't know whether I should tile the underside of the staircase (not sure whether this is classed as wall or ceiling!!) or just the walls (hope that makes sense!!).
Cheers

So - I'm half way through my latest wet room job and some smart bugger has come in and asked the question
Where do you keep the toilet roll to stop it getting wet?
Damn!
Not had to deal with this one before, because the others I've done haven't had a toilet near the shower area, but...
We fitted the toilet today, Its a ROCA dual flush.
No leaks, and it flushes but when you open the lid you can see water running from the lip edge down into the toilet. Eventually of course the cistern level drops and it starts to fill up again.
Any ideas how to adjust / fix this?
Thanks

Trying to remove the toilet to tile underneath but cannot get those flippin' screws out that attch toilet bowl to floor. I hear they get corroded into concrete pretty quickly. We want to re use the tioilet bowl so smashing it is not really the option. We've tried drilling them out with a steel...
Just wondering how much a plumber would charge very roughly to remove a toilet and sink pedestal and then refit it back onto the tiling later on.
I have a customer who is probablly on a tight budget, so I dont know whether to recommend them having these removed, or whether to just tile around...
Come across this problem loads off times. When it comes to bathrooms I like to remove the sanitory makes for a better finish and life easier. Almost always you have a high point around the toilet waste and a rocking high tile the same with door frames they never seem to maintain the same depth...
